At least 12 people killed and 10 others were injured as a truck hits a small vehicle ‘Votovoti’ at Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga this (Sunday) morning.
Police said the accident occurred around 6:30am when the locally-made human hauler collided head-on with a truck on the Chuadanga-Jibonnagar road at Joyrampur village of the upazila.
Damurhuda police senior assistant superintendent Mohammad Kalimullah said eight persons were killed on the accident spot while four others died in Chuadanga Sadar Hospital.
