Bangladesh and India on Saturday signed 22 documents, including deals and memorandums of understanding (MoUs), in presence of prime minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, reports news agency UNB.
The deals include one on the close cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
However, the much-sought Teesta water-sharing deal saw no light this time, too.
The documents were signed after a one-on-one meeting between Sheikh Hasina and Narendra Modi, and bilateral talks at the Hyderabad House.
However, Modi said the Teesta issue will be resolved. “We two governments can do it.”
