“Three plays,” Hason Raja”, “Chile Kotar Sepai”, “Statue of Democracy” were staged at Comilla university on Tuesday.
Three troupes, Jahangir Nagar University based Theatre Jahangir Nagar, Shah Jalal University of Science and Technology based SUST Theatre, Comilla University based CoU Theatre respectively staged three plays on the final day of the three-day long Inter university drama Festival 2019 at Comilla Univesity central Shaheed Minar. The Theatre of Comilla University organized this three-day long 1st Inter-University drama festival.
Theatre of CoU staged their play “Statue of Democracy” which was compiled Faruk Sorkar Tuko and directed by Basir Uddin Rony. In the evening on the same day Theatre, SUST staged their play “Hason Raja” and Jahangir Nagar Theatre staged their play “Chile Kotar Sepai” which written by Aktaruzzam Elias and its directed and compiled by Diponkar Chokroborti Dip. Noted that on the opening day Theatre CoU was performed a drama titled “Dhala”. The festival opened on March 3 and ends today.
