Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has called for deactivating the unnecessary SIM cards from the individual users. A circular has been issued in this regard to the cell phone subscribers in the country about closing down SIM cards to any individual user if the limit crosses 15.

The circular also reads that if the user declines to stop using the SIM cards, the BTRC will annul the SIM card registration and gradually will stop the SIM card activities.

And in that case, the users might lose their necessary SIM cards too.
