Two people were killed after a truck collided with a pickup van in Dubaoi bazaar area of Habubal upazila Wednesday early morning.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Shaestaganj highway police station officer-in-charge Jasimuddin Khandakar said a Sylhet-bound cement-laden truck hit the pickup van in the area around 5:00am, leaving the two men dead on the spot. The deceased are assumed to be the pickup van driver and his helper.
