tiger win in harareBartaBangla Desk :: Bangladesh won the second and final Twenty20 match against Zimbabwe by 34 runs to square the series 1-1 at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Sunday.

Bangladesh easily defended their 168 runs with another outstanding all-round performance by Shakib Al Hasan which restricted the hosts to 134 for nine in 20 overs.

The ace-rounder claimed four wickets for 22 runs after smashing 40 off 28 balls.His knock helped Bangladesh recover to 168-7 after they won the toss and elected to bat first.

Shakib and Tamim Iqbal (43) stood tall in an 82-run stand for the second wicket after Shamsur Rahman was sent packing off the fourth ball of the first over having scored just two runs.

Shamsur was out trying a slog sweep off Prosper Utseya but was easily taken by the deep midwicket fielder.

Bangladesh lost the first match by six runs at the same venue on Saturday.
