BartaBangla Report :: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, “The opposition leader wants more blood to usurp power… she wants to capture power at the cost of people’s blood. But, the people of the country are not ready to sacrifice their lives to install a corrupt leader like Khaleda to power,”.

She on Tuesday called upon Opposition Leader Khaleda Zia to stop the politics of killings in the name of movement to protect war criminals.

Otherwise, she warned, Khaleda would be tried one day.

Hasina, who heads the Awami League, said this while addressing a mammoth public meeting at the Government Boys’ High School ground in Pirojpur in the afternoon. The district unit of the governing party arranged the meeting.

AL Advisory Council Member Amir Hossain Amu, Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury and Acting President of District Awami League Advocate Afzal Hossain Khan also addressed the meeting, while local parliament member MA Awal presided over it.
