Protests and oppositions against Padmavati are deepening in India as the movie release date is appearing. The Rajput and other similar organizations are protesting against the movie director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the movie – Padmavati.

They alleged that the historical facts and information have been distorted in this movie. So, they want a ban on the movie and also threatening the lead artist and director.

Recently, a Rajput organization, Karni Sena, has declared for an assault on Deepika Padukone. They declared to chop off the nose of the heroine for her role in this controversial movie.

Even, another extremist organization of the Uttar Pradesh has issued death threats for the director and the lead actress. The organization has declared RS 5 Crores for the head of Bhansali and Deepika.

They also want a ban on the movie.

The movie, Padmavati, was set to be released on December 01 this year. But the filmmakers decided not to release the movie until it gets complete approval from Indian Censor Board.

The latest date for the movie release is set on January 26 next year, said the Indian media.

After the statement from the producing authority Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the troubles with the censor board have been resolved and the movie will be released on next year. But they did not ensure anything about the movie release.

Meanwhile, protests from religious organizations are on in different parts of India including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Gujrat are underway. Some of the ruling party members are also supporting the protests.

The filmmakers have postponed the release date for the existing debates on the movie plot.

The demonstrators claimed that the movie plot has distorted the historical facts. The Rajput queen sacrificed herself with many other women to protect their honor.

But the movie has some scenes of meeting with Alauddin Khilji which did not happen in reality at all.

The movie plot is made based on the real-life story of the Rajput queen of Chittor in India.

So, the protestors demand a ban on the movie and also want to stop its screening.

The movie is starred by Deepika Padukone on the leading role of Padmavati, while Shahid Kapoor plays the role of Ratan Singh, Ranveer Singh on the character of Alauddin Khilji among others.

This is one the largest budgeted movies made ever in the history of Bollywood.
