The movie based on the Rajput queen Padmini has been under trouble with the allegation of distorting history.

Rajput groups are after the movie and they demand to remove some of the parts of the movie and so, two Rajasthan-based professors have been invited to analyze the movie.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has invited the professors to be the part of reviewing panel for the movie from Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The academics are R S Khangarot of Awarwall College in Jaipur and B L Gupta, a retired professor of Rajasthan University.

Both of them have huge knowledge about the history of Rajasthan and surrounding localities.

Khangarot said that he has verbally been invited and no written communications have been done so far. He assured that he would review the movie based on the aspects of director and history instead of the Rajput Community and Bhansali aspects.

On the other side, Gupta opined that he would make comments based on his knowledge of history if there are any historical distortions are available or not.

The movie was set to be released on December 1 but the release date has been deferred because of the censor clearance.

But now, this is one of the much-debated issues in the world.

The movie features Deepika Padukone on the role of queen Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor on the character of Ratan Singh, Ranveer Singh on the role of Alauddin Khilji among others.
