BartaBangla Desk :: Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami on Thursday filed an appeal with the Supreme Court for staying the operation of the High Court verdict that declared illegal the registration of the party. Soon after the judgement, Advocate Shishir Mohammad Moni, one of the Jamaat counsels, the filed the petition with the related branch of the Apex Court.
After filing the stay petition, Shishir told The Independent that they would move before the Apex Court at their convenient time.
