BartaBangla Report :: A mother had killed her two kids throwing into a pond in Aliara village under Nasirnagar upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Samrat, 3 and Tajin, 1, sons of Ali Akbar and murderer mother is Romena Akter.
Haripur UP Chairman Jamal Mia told that the incident took place centering an altercation over family matter and extreme poverty. Romena was mentally disturbed following ongoing adversity.
On Wednesday morning she threw her minor sons to a pond and also tried to commit suicide, however locals rescued her to hospital in critical position.
Nasirnagar Thana Officer-in-Charge M Abdul Kader confirmed this matter.
