BartaBangla Report :: A fire broke out at a plastic factory in Markhun area of Tongi upazila of the district on Wednesday.
Fire Brigade sources said the fire originated at one-storied Hatim Plastic Factory around 12 noon.
On information, three fire fighting units of the Tongi upazila rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after 45 minutes of hectic efforts with the help of the local people.
The cause of the fire and the extent of loss could not be immediately ascertained, Fire Brigade sources said.
