Pope Francis is due to Dhaka on November 30 next. The Pope is visiting the country by the invitation of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Before the trip, the Pope, also the Roman Catholic Church chief, has sent a message of blessing and good luck for the people of Bangladesh.

The Pope delivered a message through the Vatican Radio website. Through a video message, the Pope shared his blessing to the Christian society of Bangladesh.

Pope Francis will visit Myanmar before visiting Bangladesh. He will stay around three days in Bangladesh and take part in different activities.

In this schedule, Pope Francis will make a courtesy call with the President M Abdul Hamid and the Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina.

Besides, the pope is also slated to run some religious activities of the Christians in the country. And he will take part in some other activities before his departure on December 02.

This is the third time when a Pops is visiting Bangladesh.
