The general secretary of the ruling Awami League, Obaidul Quader, on Wednesday said that the massive movement which BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia declared earlier, is now in self-imposed exile in London.
After visiting the flood-affected Bogra Bypass area on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway Obaidul, also the minister for Road Transport and Bridges satirically said that “BNP chairperson earlier declared to launch a larger movement after Eid ul Fitr but now where is that movement?”
“BNP has no agenda of politics without crying and allegations,” he added.
About BNP’s demand of associate government during next general election, he said AL-led government will assist Election Commission to hold a free-fair and neutral election.
“If the EC remains neutral then the polls will also be neutral,” he added.
