BartaBangla Desk :: Three people, including a Jubo League activist, were killed and another injured as two motorcycles rammed into each other on the Chatkhil-Sonaimuri road in Chatkhil upazila early Thursday.
Two of the deceased were identified as Chatkhil municipality unit Jubo League activist Fujayel, 24, and local businessman Nasir, 23, while the identity of another could not be known immediately.
Officer-in-charge (OC) Chatkhil Police Station Ibrahim Khalil said the accident took place in Halima Dighi area of the road around 4:30am when two speeding motorcycles carrying the four collided head-on with each other, leaving Fujayel, Nasir and another dead on the spot and one person injured.
The injured was rushed to Noakhali Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.
