BartaBangla Desk :: The Awami League will launch a massive campaign after the Eid-ul-Fitr to highlight the achievement of its government as well as to remind the people of the ‘misrule’ of previous BNP government.
Stating that “Awami League is a party of the common people,” Foreign Minister Dipu Moni said on Friday, after a programme in Chandpur, that her party would start the drive with renewed vigour.
“The massive development of the country and successes of the government in the last four years should be highlighted before the people and leaders and activists of Awami League and its affiliate organisations.”“Also they must be reminded of the chaotic situation, repression, corruption, misrule, militancy and terrorism during the 2001-06 [BNP-led] alliance government,” said the ruling party’s Joint General Secretary.
Dipu Moni also urged the people to bring Awami League back to power to continue the development works and to achieve the goal of Vision-2021.
The Foreign Minister was speaking to journalists after inaugurating the reconstruction work of a box culvert on the Comilla-Lalmai-Chandpur-Laxmipur-Begumganj road.
