BartaBangla Report :: Two suspected robbers were shot dead during a ‘gunfight’ with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Chandpai range of Sundarbans this morning. The dead were identified as–Enamul Hawlader alias Daroga, 34, the ringleader of ‘Daroga Bahini’ and his cohort Saiful, 28.
Acting on received intelligence, a team of Rab-8 engaged in a crackdown through the Arubaria canal on the banks of Pashur river around 6:50am, the official said.
Sensing the presence of law enforcers, pirates group opened fire prompting the RAB members to fire back.
