BartaBangla Desk :: Home Minister Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir Tuesday commented that the 48-hour hartal program imposed by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in protest against the High Court’s (HC) verdict banning the party had failed.
The minister was speaking with journalists after opening a workshop at a hotel in the capital Tuesday.
No untoward situation took place, Alamgir claimed.
“The law enforcers will take action against any attempt at violence,” he observed.
