BartaBangla Desk :: Senior lawyer of Supreme Court and constitution expert Dr M Zahir passed away at Bangkok General Hospital on Thursday. He was 74.
Zahir was suffering from bone marrow cancer and he was admitted in the Bangkok Hospital on June 27.
In 1962, Zahir engaged himself in law profession at a Dhaka court after completing BA (Hons), MA in English literature and LLB from Dhaka University.
Zahir was enlisted as a senior advocate of the Supreme Court in 1978.
Later, he was elected a member of the Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris.
