BartaBangla Report :: A court on Monday indicted 60 people in the sensational Aminbazar six-student murder case.
Judge Md Helal Uddin of the Second Additional District and Sessions Judge’s Court charged the 60 people with killing six students on July 18, 2011 and fixed August 25 next for hearing.
Of the accused, 30 are now out on bail and five in jail. The court issued a warrant for the arrest of the rest 25, now on the run, turning down their discharge petition.
On July 18, 2011, a mob beat the six students to death and injured another at Bardeshi village of Aminbazar in Savar.
On January 13 this year, Additional Police Super Sharif Uddin Ahamed of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab), who is also the investigation officer (IO) of this case, submitted a charge-sheet before the court accusing 60 people for killing the six students.
The charge-sheeted accused are, Abdul Malek, Syed Member, Abdur Rashid, Ismail Hossain alias Badu, Nehar alias Jomsher Ali, Hiru Hossain, Mojibur Rahman, Kabir Hossain, Anwar Hossain, Rajur Ali Shohagh, Alam, Md Rana, Abdul Hamid, Md Almas Mia, Shahin Ahmed, Farid Khan, Razib Hossain, Rahim alias Hatkata Rahim, Md Wasim, Md Sailm alias Mollah, Md. Sanwar Hossain, Md Shamsul Haq alias Samshu Member, Rashed, Md Saiful, Sattar, Salim, Munir Hossain, Sabbir Ahmed, Alamgir, Anwar Hossain Anu, Mobarak Hossain, Akhil Khondaker, Bashir, Rubel, Nur Islam, Amin, Saleh Ahmed, Shadat Hossain Jewel, Tutul, Akhail, Masud, Nizamuddin, Mokhles, Salam, Afzal, Badsha Mia, Toton, Saiful, Shajahan, Sultan, Shohagh, Lemon, Saimon, Enayet, Ifdar, Khaleque, Iman Ali, Dulal, and Alam.
