BartaBangla Report :: BNP-led 18-party alliance on Friday called a countrywide daylong hartal for Sunday demanding restoration of the caretaker government system, release of its arrested leaders and activists and withdrawal of the ban on meetings and procession. BNP Chairperson’s adviser Shamsuzzaman Dudu announced the shutdown call at a press briefing at the party’s Nayapaltan central office at noon.
