At least two people were killed and another was injured early Tuesday as a minibus ploughed into a group of people who put up a barricade on the road to check the suspicious speedy movement of the vehicle in Amtoli area of Manikchhari upazila, reports news agency UNB.<\/p>\n
The deceased are identified as Arif Hossain, 25, son of Sirajul Islam and Mahidul Islam, 35, of Jaliapara area in the district.<\/p>\n
The injured Jamal Hossain, 26, was rushed to local hospital in critical condition, said Moyeen Uddin Khan, officer-in-charge of Manikchhari Police Station.<\/p>\n
Some locals barricaded the road in Amtoli area around 4:15 am following the suspicious movement of a minibus. During the time, the driver drove the minibus into the barricade, leaving two people dead on the spot and one injured, said the OC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
