Those had been among some old and used arms brought from Italy by Imran Arms and Company of Baitul Mukarram Market. MM Traders of East Rayerbazar was the C&F Agent.<\/p>\n
The consignment had been stopped earlier at the airport because of a ban on import of such arms.<\/p>\n
Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate chief Moinul Khan told that the detectives checked the no. 1 strong room of the air cargo unit at the airport and found the pistols.<\/p>\n
He said the detectives conducted the search operation following the tip-off.<\/p>\n
He added that the consignment came in a Kuwait Airways flight, but did not mention the time and date.<\/p>\n
