{"id":3818,"date":"2017-07-07T16:08:10","date_gmt":"2017-07-07T10:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bartabangla.com\/english\/?p=3818"},"modified":"2017-07-07T16:08:10","modified_gmt":"2017-07-07T10:08:10","slug":"bahauddin-confesses-raping-university-student-rab","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bartabangla.com\/english\/bahauddin-confesses-raping-university-student-rab\/","title":{"rendered":"Bahauddin confesses to raping university student: RAB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Rapid Action Battalion on Friday said Bahauddin Ivan had confessed to raping a university student after inviting her to his birthday party.<\/p>\n<p>At a press briefing on Friday morning, the RAB said 28-year-old Bahauddin, who was arrested following a rape case filed by the girl on Wednesday morning, confessed to raping her at his Banani residence.<\/p>\n<p>RAB&#8217;s law and media wing director, Mufti Mahmud Khan, said a team of RAB-11 arrested Bahauddin from his aunt&#8217;s residence in Narayanganj&#8217;s Fatullah upazila on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>According to the case statement, Bahauddin, son of a businessman living at NAM Village apartments in Banani, requested the university student&#8217;s presence at his home to celebrate his birthday party there.<\/p>\n<p>Responding to the call, the victim went to his house on Tuesday night, but found that there was no one but Bahauddin.<\/p>\n<p>At one stage, host Bahauddin raped the girl around 1:00am early Wednesday.
