{"id":2081,"date":"2013-08-15T16:24:31","date_gmt":"2013-08-15T10:24:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bartabangla.com\/english\/?p=2081"},"modified":"2013-08-15T16:24:31","modified_gmt":"2013-08-15T10:24:31","slug":"9-militants-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bartabangla.com\/english\/9-militants-held\/","title":{"rendered":"9 militants held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bartabangla.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/jongi-9.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2082\" alt=\"jongi 9\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bartabangla.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/jongi-9.png\" width=\"294\" height=\"137\" \/><\/a>BartaBangla Report :: <\/strong>Nine members of a militant organisation undergoing training at a Kaomi madrasa in Jhalokathi\u2019s Nolchiti upazila have been arrested.<\/p>\n<p>Police said grenades and several books on jihad were recovered in that raid.<\/p>\n<p>The new recruits to the militant groups nabbed in a night operation on Wednesday at \u2018Kamdebpur Kaomi Madrasa\u2019 from Mollarhaat Union following a tip off.<\/p>\n<p>A press conference was held at 11am Thursday at the office of the police superintendent with those arrested.<\/p>\n<p>Those arrested were Moshiur Rahman, Abdul Bashar Mridha, Minhazul Abedin, Md Sirajul Islam, Abdul Aziz, Md Nurul Islam, Md Shohag, \u2018Jobayer\u2019 and Md Baki Billah.<\/p>\n<p>They hail from various parts of Nilphamari, Gopalganj, Madaripur and Jhalokathi district.<\/p>\n<p>Evidence of their involvement in militancy exists and they will face legal action said Superintendent of Police Md Mojid Ali.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoshiur Rahman had several meetings with Huji (Harkat-ul-Jihad) leader Abdur Rouf in prison and maintained communication with him.
