I will say something on this after I discuss it with the speaker in the afternoon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Before this he posted in his facebook page &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will probably resign. I feel that I should fight these conspiracies as a regular citizen.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>Two Independent TV journalists were allegedly attacked by the Awami League MP from Patuakhali 3 constituency on Saturday when they went to interview him for a crime-based programme, \u2018Talash\u2019.<\/div>\n<p>The television management sued the lawmaker for the assault, accusing him with attempt to murder.<\/p>\n<p>Rony in turn filed cases against the Independent TV journalists, accusing them of extortion and blackmail.<\/p>\n<p>Both Rony and the two journalists got bail in the cases.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BartaBangla Report :: Awami League MP Golam Maula Rony says he has decided to resign amid the furore over his assault on journalists leading to back-to-back cases and his party is distancing itself from the lawmaker.
