{"id":1771,"date":"2013-07-22T12:36:17","date_gmt":"2013-07-22T06:36:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bartabangla.com\/english\/?p=1771"},"modified":"2013-07-22T12:36:17","modified_gmt":"2013-07-22T06:36:17","slug":"journo-leaders-demand-arrest-of-mp-rony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bartabangla.com\/english\/journo-leaders-demand-arrest-of-mp-rony\/","title":{"rendered":"Journo leaders demand arrest of MP Rony"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bartabangla.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/protibad-somabes.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1772\" alt=\"protibad somabes\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bartabangla.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/protibad-somabes.jpg\" width=\"280\" height=\"179\" \/><\/a>BartaBangla Report :: <\/strong>Journalist leaders on Monday demanded the arrest of ruling party MP Golam Maula Rony within seven days and his expulsion from Parliament for assaulting two journalists of the private television channel, Independent TV.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The demand came from a human chain programme in front of Jatiya Press Club in the capital at about 11 am.<\/p>\n<p>Leaders of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ), Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) and Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) joined the programme.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the occasion, BFUJ president Ruhul Amin Gazi demanded the arrest of MP Golam Maula Rony and his expulsion from Parliament for assaulting journalists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe demand (Golam Maula) Rony\u2019s arrest and his expulsion from Parliament.
