{"id":1017,"date":"2013-05-17T13:28:44","date_gmt":"2013-05-17T07:28:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bartabangla.com\/english\/?p=1017"},"modified":"2013-05-17T13:28:44","modified_gmt":"2013-05-17T07:28:44","slug":"jnu-staff-stabbed-to-death-2-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bartabangla.com\/english\/jnu-staff-stabbed-to-death-2-held\/","title":{"rendered":"JnU staff stabbed to death, 2 held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bartabangla.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/J-U.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1018\" alt=\"J U\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bartabangla.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/J-U-300x251.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"251\" \/><\/a><\/b><b>BartaBangla Desk ::\u00a0<\/b>A fourth class staff of Jagannath University was stabbed to death by another staff on Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased was identified as Kamal Hossain, 22, a daily wage based worker of Registrar\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Kamal said before death that general secretary of Fourth Class Staffers\u2019 Association of the university M Iqbal stabbed him as he knew about extra marital affair of Iqbal with Sumi, wife of another fourth class staff Harun.<\/p>\n<p>Sources said Iqbal threatened his subordinate Kamal to sack from the job as he (Kamal) knew everything.<\/p>\n<p>As a consequence of the incident, on Friday morning Iqbal called Kamal at Obokash Bhaban and stabbed him at one stage of altercation.<\/p>\n<p>Kamal was rushed to Dhaka Medical Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
